Eshel Publications
Disseminating thousands of seforim, shiurim, and live Torah classes
Eshel Publications was founded to spread the seforim and shiurim of HaRav Ahron Lopiansky, shlita, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Greater Washington/Tiferes Gedaliah. R’ Ahron is a son-in-law of Rav Beinish Finkel zt”l, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Mir Yerushalayim, where R’ Ahron learned for decades under R’ Nachum Partzovitz zt”l and R’ Chaim Shmuelevitz zt”l. His approach to torah and machshava was also deeply influenced by Harav Moshe Shapiro zt”l.
Rabbi Lopiansky has a unique teaching ability that lures one into the depths of Chazal, pulling out profound messages as well as inspirational and practical lessons for life. His depth of understanding and broad application of the sugyos provides new clarity and insight into the many facets of torah. R’ Aaron’s shirium cover a wide range of topics from Machshava to Mussar to history to Chassidus. There is a series for everyone and a shiur for every occasion.
The Rav Mattisyahu Rosenblum Memorial Audio Library
Rav Mattisyahu Rosenblum’s name is synonymous with R’ Ahron Lopiansky’s shiurim. Rav Mattisyahu encouraged the recording of R’ Ahron’s shiurim and singlehandedly created the database of shiurim that we have today. He listened to, edited, corrected, titled, and posted every shiur by himself for many, many years. The proliferation of R’ Ahron Lopiansky’s torah is in no small part a credit to R’ Mattisyahu.
After graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Yale University in 1985, Rabbi Rosenblum spent 2 years at Machon Shlomo in Jerusalem before he decided to devote his life to learning, teaching, and connecting students to Torah. It was there that he met R’ Ahron Lopiansky and hired him to learn with him at Yeshivas Mir. R’ Mattisyahu spent the last 15 years of his extraordinary life as a mentor at Machon Yaakov.
